Florida Lobster season coming to a close:(

Lobster season in the Florida Keys ends March 31st.  If you don't have a freezer full of the bugs, you only have a few days left.  However, summer is just around the corner with lobster mini-season at the end of July and regular season starting again in August.

Apparently however, our father/daughter tandem from Chicago couldn't wait for their summer vacation to go lobstering.  They shot down here for a few days over her spring break for a last ditch effort.  The hunt was successful and they're bringing their catch to one of the local restaurants for preperation.  Conditions were pretty good as well:  NE wind 10 kts, 1-2 ft seas, no current and at least 50 ft of viz.  I can't tell you where we were, that's a secret, but when you come lobstering we'll try that spot again.

Lobster or no lobster, at least you'll get in a great dive!
