On the waters of Key Largo FL, the Diving Capital of the World, with Captain Eric

Welcome to Key Largo, the Diving Capital of the World!
Welcome aboard the BlueWater Diver and my first captains blog. Please be patient with me as I work out the kinks and I will try to stay current and relevent.
Yes, the name of the boat is BlueWater Diver, but we also take snorkelers. Today it was only snorkelers. A family on spring break from Minnesota that decided to go with us and have the boat all to themselves, instead of a bigger boat with "35 of their closest friends". And, boy they were happy with the decision, not to mention I got to talk hockey and speak Minnesootan!
We started out at White Banks with the wind out of the east around 15 kts and 1-2 ft seas. Good place for first time snorkelers. I gave them some options for the second spot, and they chose one of my favorites, Molasses Reef. Great choice, a bit bumpier, but better visibility and we were moored right on top of the action.
Mom and Dad are already certified divers and now the kids are talking about doing the same. Grandma and Grandpa couldn't believe all the fish that were down there and kept thanking us for the personal attention and the little things like calling everybody by their names...
I want to thank them for another successfull day on the water and reminding me what it's all about!
